About Mafanedza Runganani

Hey! I'm Mafanedza, and I'm genuinely excited that you're here. Let me tell you a bit about myself—I'm a registered dietitian with a BSc and Master's from North West University, but honestly? The degrees are just the beginning. What really drives me is helping people like you discover that eating well doesn't mean giving up the foods you love or following some impossible plan.

I'm also the author of a children's healthy eating book called "Zwiliwa zwi re na pfushi"—because I believe healthy habits start early, and I wanted to make nutrition fun and accessible for kids too.

When I'm not in the clinic or working with clients, you'll probably find me doing one of the things that fills my cup: running through the trails, exploring nature, hiking, working on my farm, traveling to new places, or cooking up something delicious in my kitchen. I'm a big believer in balance—yes, I'm a dietitian, but I also love good food and believe life's too short not to enjoy it!

Most importantly, I cherish time with my family and friends—those moments of laughter and connection are what keep me grounded. And above all, my faith guides everything I do. It's the foundation that helps me show up for my clients with compassion, patience, and genuine care.

Fun fact: Red is my favorite color—it reflects the energy and passion I bring to both my work and life. You'll probably notice it peeking through in little ways around here!

How I Work

Here's the thing—I don't believe in cookie-cutter meal plans or one-size-fits-all advice. Every person who walks through my door (or joins me on a video call) is unique, and your nutrition plan should be too.

Science-Backed, But Real

I stay up-to-date with the latest research, but I also know that what works in a study doesn't always work in real life.

It's All About You

Your culture, your budget, your schedule, your taste preferences—all of it matters.

No Judgment Zone

I've been where you are. Food struggles are real, and there's no shame in them.

Small Steps, Big Changes

We'll build sustainable habits that actually stick, one small change at a time.
